Audrey Guthrie

For Audrey, the highlights of her career are centered around
those people that she has been able to help. Before becoming a lawyer, Audrey
worked in social services, where she dedicated her time to assisting and
advocating for people with physical and cognitive disabilities. Now, Audrey is
proud to have a career where she can continue to help people get their lives
back to normal after life-changing accidents.

Audrey considers Colorado, Maine, and Texas to be her home
states. She is licensed to practice law in Texas and works out of our Austin
office. She graduated with honors from Columbia Southern University with a
Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Management. Audrey went on to
receive her Doctorate of Law at the University of Maine School of Law, where
she graduated with honors.

While in law school, Audrey continued her advocacy for
people living with disabilities. She also worked through the Cumberland Legal
Aid Clinic to do civil litigation with incarcerated clients. In addition, she
was a significant contributing author for the Maine Juvenile Defenders Manual.
Audrey was recognized as a recipient of the University of Maine Association for
Public Interest Law Fellowship, and was honored as a member of both the Women’s
Law Association and the Association for Reproductive Justice.

After graduating from law school, Audrey worked as an associate
attorney at a personal injury law firm in Houston, Texas where she focused on
catastrophic injury cases. In a major case that went to the Texas Supreme
Court, she successfully briefed before the justices, which led to the creation
of favorable case law in the areas of personal injury and first-party
homeowner’s litigation.

Audrey’s career has given her a wealth of experience dealing
with catastrophic personal injuries resulting from commercial motor vehicle collisions, construction site
injuries, and premises liability in hotels and apartment complexes. Audrey is
committed to making sure that no one is denying the people she represents of
their rights, and will stop at nothing to seek justice for their
injuries.

Outside of the office, Audrey continues to be an active
member in the professional community and is a proud member of the American
Association of Justice as well as the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys. Besides
being an experienced litigator, Audrey is also a talented musician! You can
find her in and around Austin performing vocally and playing the piano.
